Praying
In a ministry of visiting people all kinds of possibilities are there. One of these is prayer, people often will respond positively to people showing a willingness to pray for them. What this does is begin to open people up to look at their lives from a spiritual perspective. It also paves the way for some amazing testimonies as God works in lives.
Ethnic Minorities
We have a burden and a desire coupled with experience to reach out to many in our city who come from other ethnic groups. This is a passion of scripture so are keen to join with others in this vital work.
Helps
Helps is also part of the home visitation ministry. This is born out of Acts 10:38 where Peter speaks of Jesus’ ministry as healing people and also going around doing good. Helps is about assistance in any way possible by making the love of Jesus as evident as possible in the communities of Leeds. It might be mending that broken tap of helping the elderly with shopping or a host of other ways it seeks to care and love in real ways and real situation. Spiritual dialogue We want to engage with people is dialogue about spiritual matters giving people an opportunity to hear the gospel as clearly as possible so that they may make an accurate informed decision.
Literature distribution
The Word of God is powerful…we have heard this before. People do not have an opportunity to hear it however unless they are engaged with it. Literature seeks to meet the masses with quality literature that will cause them to look beyond their circumstances.
